Training Is a System

A Library of Videos Is Not an Enterprise Learning Program.

Organizations rarely struggle because they cannot create another presentation or training video. The challenge is connecting the content to the people, processes, technology, and reporting required to make the program work.
  • cancel

The knowledge is fragmented: Critical expertise lives across subject-matter experts, documents, presentations, policies, and departments.

  • cancel

The learning experience is inconsistent: Different audiences receive different materials without one clear curriculum or standard.

  • cancel

The technology is disconnected: Content, LMS access, assessments, certifications, completion tracking, and reporting do not work as one system.

  • cancel

Ownership is unclear: Internal teams, agencies, SMEs, compliance leaders, and vendors each own pieces of the program, but nobody owns the complete learning operation.

COURSE Enterprise brings those pieces together into one structured education system.
One Connected Operating System

Companies Do Not Need Consumer-Style Validation. They Need the Program Defined Correctly.

For an expert launching a new course, the first question is whether people will pay for the offer. Enterprise training begins somewhere different.

Your organization may already have a defined need: onboard employees, train customers, certify partners, reduce risk, support a product rollout, standardize knowledge, or document completion.

The uncertainty is not whether the training should exist. It is what should be taught, to whom, how it should be delivered, which standards must shape it, how completion should be measured, and what infrastructure is required to operate it. That is why COURSE Enterprise begins with a consultation to determine your best path forward, rather than COURSE Validate.

COURSE looks phenomenal. The look of your website, the case studies that you have, the production, the video, the branding, the colors, the photo, the content, everything looks absolutely spectacular. I've been researching this for years and years and years and years. And I saw Course Co. and I said I don't know if this is too good to be true. So I'm really excited. I am really really excited to get started!

The Enterprise Process

A Structured Process From Training Need to Implementation Plan.

Step 1 — Discover the Business Requirement

COURSE works with the relevant stakeholders to understand why the program exists, what business or organizational requirement it supports, who needs to participate, and what success should look like.

We review existing training, policies, documentation, subject-matter expertise, platforms, workflows, and reporting requirements.

Output: Training Requirements Baseline

A shared understanding of the audiences, requirements, existing assets, gaps, stakeholders, and desired outcomes.

Step 2 — Map the Audience and Learning Journey

Different roles may need different information, depth, assessments, or completion requirements.

COURSE maps who needs to learn what, what they should be able to understand or do afterward, and how the learning paths should differ.

Output: Audience + Learning Architecture

This establishes the roles, outcomes, learning paths, modules, sequence, and learner journey.

Step 3 — Define Content, Platform, and Measurement

We determine how the learning should be delivered and how the organization will know it happened.

This includes curriculum requirements, production formats, LMS needs, assessments, certification where applicable, completion tracking, permissions, reporting, and operational responsibilities.

Output: Training System Architecture

The program is now defined as a complete system rather than a content list.

Step 4 — Scope the Build and Operating Model

COURSE translates the architecture into an implementation plan.

We define what must be created, what can be reused, who needs to participate, which systems are required, how implementation will be phased, and what ongoing operation should look like.

Output: Enterprise Training Blueprint + Build Roadmap

Your organization can then approve a COURSE Training Build, implement internally, or use the Blueprint to coordinate other approved partners.

Beyond Content Delivery

Training Only Works When You Can See Who Completed What.

Enterprise learning frequently requires more than simply making content available.

Depending on the program, COURSE Enterprise can architect systems for:

  • Learner enrollment and access
  • Role-specific assignments
  • Required learning paths
  • Lesson progression
  • Assessments and passing criteria
  • Completion status
  • Certificates
  • Renewal or recertification requirements
  • Learner communication
  • Administrative reporting
  • Manager visibility
  • Program-level reporting
  • Documentation supporting audit or internal review requirements

The goal is to design completion, tracking, and reporting into the system from the beginning—not add them after production is finished.

COURSE Operate FAQs

What is COURSE Enterprise?

COURSE Enterprise is the corporate and organizational pathway for building structured learning and training systems.

It supports employee learning, onboarding, compliance and safety training, customer education, partner enablement, certification, association education, and other programs where the education requirement is already established.

Who COURSE Enterprise Is For

COURSE Enterprise is designed for:

  • Learning and development teams
  • Training departments
  • HR and people teams
  • Compliance and risk leaders
  • Safety leaders
  • Customer-success and customer-education teams
  • Partner and channel organizations
  • Product and enablement teams
  • Professional associations
  • Certification organizations
  • Platforms building education for their ecosystem
  • Operations leaders standardizing knowledge across teams
  • Organizations replacing fragmented or outdated training programs
  • Companies that need to capture expertise from internal SMEs before it is lost
  • Teams launching internal or external academies

The common denominator is an established requirement to educate a defined group—not an individual creator testing whether a new course idea can sell.

COURSE Enterprise may not be the right engagement when:

  • You are an individual expert testing an unproven commercial course idea
  • You primarily need to validate whether customers will pay
  • You already have a validated creator-led offer and need a standard course built
  • You only need isolated video editing or LMS administration
  • You are looking for a generic off-the-shelf compliance library
  • You want COURSE to make legal or regulatory determinations on your organization's behalf
  • Your organization cannot provide access to the required SMEs and stakeholders
  • There is no internal owner empowered to make decisions
  • You need custom software development rather than a training system
  • You are looking for unlimited training production without defined scope

Individual experts should typically follow Validate → Build → Operate. Enterprise is the parallel pathway for companies, associations, and platforms.

What will COURSE own?

COURSE leads the education strategy, requirements gathering, program architecture, curriculum design, production planning, LMS recommendations, completion framework, project management, quality assurance, and implementation roadmap included in the approved scope.

During Build and Operate, COURSE can also coordinate production, platform implementation, reporting systems, ongoing content maintenance, and approved program operations.

What will our organization own?

Your organization provides the business requirements, policies, approved standards, source materials, subject-matter expertise, platform access, stakeholder decisions, internal approvals, and any legal or regulatory determinations required for the program.

Your team is also responsible for identifying the appropriate internal approvers and ensuring that required claims, policies, regulatory interpretations, and compliance language have been reviewed by qualified internal or external authorities.

What will subject-matter experts own?

SMEs provide the authoritative knowledge the program must teach.

COURSE helps extract, organize, translate, and structure that expertise into an effective learning experience, but the appropriate expert remains responsible for validating technical accuracy within their area of expertise.

Can COURSE work with our existing vendors and internal teams?

Yes. COURSE can coordinate with your L&D team, HR, compliance leaders, legal reviewers, IT department, LMS administrators, agencies, production partners, and other approved contributors.

Why doesn't Enterprise begin with COURSE Validate?

COURSE Validate is designed to determine whether qualified buyers will pay for a new commercial education offer. Most enterprise programs begin with an established organizational need. Employees may be required to complete training. Customers need onboarding. Partners need enablement. A certification program already has a strategic mandate. The primary risk is therefore not buyer demand. It is whether the program has been scoped, structured, implemented, tracked, and operated correctly.

Can COURSE work with our existing LMS?

Potentially, yes. Our enterprise services evaluate your existing technology alongside the needs of the program. If the current platform can support the required learner experience, access model, assessments, completion tracking, and reporting, COURSE may recommend keeping it. If it cannot, the Blueprint will identify the platform requirements and recommended next step.

Can COURSE help us select an LMS?

Yes. LMS and platform planning are part of COURSE Enterprise services. COURSE evaluates the learning experience, audiences, access requirements, administration needs, tracking, reporting, integrations, and operating model before recommending the appropriate platform approach. Third-party software licensing remains separate unless specifically included in the agreement.

Can COURSE build compliance or safety training?

Yes, COURSE Enterprise can structure and produce compliance and safety learning programs when the organization provides the appropriate authoritative requirements, policies, standards, and subject-matter expertise.

COURSE provides educational architecture, curriculum development, production, platform implementation, assessments, tracking, and related learning infrastructure.

COURSE does not replace your legal counsel, compliance officer, safety authority, regulator, accreditation body, or qualified subject-matter expert. Your organization remains responsible for approving the accuracy and sufficiency of regulated or legally required content.

Does COURSE certify that our training is legally compliant?

No. COURSE can design the program around the standards, policies, regulations, and requirements supplied and approved by your qualified stakeholders. Legal interpretation, regulatory approval, accreditation, and final compliance determinations remain with the organization and its qualified professional advisers.

Can COURSE create assessments and certification?

Yes.

Assessment strategy and certification requirements can be defined during the Blueprint and implemented during Training Build.

Depending on scope, this may include quizzes, knowledge checks, passing criteria, certificates, completion requirements, renewal logic, and related LMS functionality.

External accreditation or recognition by a professional or regulatory body is separate from COURSE's work.

Can COURSE capture training from our internal experts?

Yes.

Subject-matter-expert extraction is a core part of many Training Build engagements.

COURSE can interview SMEs, organize existing materials, identify the knowledge learners actually require, translate that expertise into curriculum, and prepare it for structured production.

The SME or appropriate organizational authority remains responsible for confirming technical accuracy.

Can we build different learning paths for different roles?

Yes. Role and audience mapping are part of our services specifically because enterprise programs frequently serve more than one type of learner. The architecture can define which content is universal, which modules are role-specific, how learners are assigned, and what completion requirements apply to each audience.

Does COURSE support customer and partner education, or only employee training?

COURSE Enterprise supports both internal and external education.

Programs may serve employees, customers, partners, distributors, members, franchisees, professionals seeking certification, or other defined audiences.

The same architecture applies: understand the audience and outcome, design the learning experience, implement the platform, establish enrollment or access, and define the operating system.

Can COURSE work with multiple departments?

Yes.

Enterprise programs frequently require input from L&D, HR, operations, product, customer success, compliance, legal, IT, leadership, and subject-matter experts.

One purpose of the Training Blueprint is to clarify the responsibilities, decision-makers, dependencies, and approval process across those groups before implementation begins.
